Re-Imagined Tales
Re-Imagined Tales is a collection of pastel paintings on paper based on the works of T.S. Eliot, Beatrix Potter, Hans Christian Anderson, L. Frank Baum, Charles Perrault and Carlo Collodi. My models are friends and neighbors who I feel embody the essence of the tales and helped me to re-think, re-imagine the narratives.

Animals
It is a joy to paint fur and feathers. Some of these animals were observed on trips abroad, and some were commissioned portraits of beloved pets.

Mary Lou Series
My cousin Vinnie gave me Mary Lou when I was born. She is my doppleganger. As we grow older we look more and more alike. In these oil and pastel paintings, I explored the similarities and tried on her dress.
